Sections and blocks

Sections are the parts of a page; blocks are the pieces inside a section. This page lists every section of Wholeness 1.0.0, with its blocks and settings as the theme editor shows them.

To add a section, open a page in the theme editor and click Add section. To add a block, click Add block under its section. Click a section or a block to see its settings. The help text under each setting below is the same text the editor shows.

These 28 sections are listed under Add section. You can add each one as many times as you like, wherever the list below says it goes.

Announcement bar

A thin bar at the top of every page, with a short message and an optional link.

Collection list

A heading and a row of collections, each a round or square picture with its name. With no blocks, it shows every collection that has products.

A bar in the header with a campaign message and the time left until a date. Once the date has passed, the bar leaves the store on its own.

Her / him showcase

For clothing: the heading is a switch between two words, such as “her” and “him”. Each side shows a banner and the products of one list that belong to it.

Products

Products: Products, up to 24; Up to 24, in the order they should be seen. Each side shows the ones that belong to it, in this order.

Which side each product goes to

Product option: Text; The option that says the audience, as written in the products (e.g. Gender). Without it, the product’s tags are read with the same values.

A row of tiles, one per color, each with a picture and a box in that color. A tile can open a collection filtered by its color (see Shop by color).

Video carousel

Videos in a wheel: the video on show plays in the middle, with its product under it. Videos come from blocks and from a collection.

Sections the theme loads by itself

Cart suggestions: Products suggested in the cart. Set them up in Theme settings › Cart.
Pickup availability: The pickup information on the product page, shown by the Pickup availability block.
